One of the places I went with my dad: Niagara Falls (or, at least, some of it, as you can see here). This is shot from the American Side of Niagara Falls, with foreground being American Falls and background being Horseshoe Falls. Along the middle-right side of the picture is a tour boat called "Lady of the Mists" (I think), which you can ride on to get up close to the falls, but you have to get on it on the Canadian Side. And, no, I didn't go on it.

I've learned this from my visit there: never stay the night on the American Side of Niagara. It's because the American side has the best action in a 3-block radius, which is next to the falls. Niagara, New York is mostly a run-down, boarded-up, ghost town with the possibility of seeing a tumbleweed come down a street (with the same thing for the houses). To add up to the explanation of Niagara, NY, Niagara, Canada, has casinos lined up near the ridge similar to the Las Vegas Strip, while Niagara, NY, has only one casino.

This, in my opinion, is one of the best photos I've taken on my 2-week trip. It is because of how the mist rises on the left as the American Falls drop and when you pan to the right, you see Horseshoe Falls with a small boat battling the rapids below, just for the riders on the boat, all for pleasure.
